Celula was founded by an esthetician with years of hands-on experience with skin and a working knowledge of herbs and ingredients from years of working in the natural health industry and both day and medical spas. She suffered with hormonal cystic acne and rosacea as well as an autoimmune disease which gave her more insight from experience in which things should be avoided and which ingredients could be useful!
It was born of a need to create a product that was beneficial and completely harmless to the skin, from the base to the active ingredients! It also needed to be non-comedogenic so that anyone could use it without fear of breakouts!
Celula's base for all products is waterless; only fractionally distilled aloe is used which, in itself has natural healing and beneficial properties. Only plant ingredients are used to create the emulsions, not fatty alcohols or other manufactured ingredients which can cause breakouts and are not beneficial to the skin in any way.
The PH of all products closely matches that of the skin to keep irritation down, and prevent unwanted microbial growth!
Celula is ever evolving and will be introducing some very innovative anti-aging products within 2023, so stay tuned!
